The 10-year issuance marks Aldar’s second green sukuk, following its inaugural $500m sukuk issued in May last year
Proceeds of the sukuk will be used in accordance with Aldar’s Green Finance Framework to finance green initiatives and acquisitions
The acquisition is part of the previously announced $1.4bn investment by Apollo into Aldar’s transformational growth initiatives
The deal will see Apollo take a direct minority stake in Aldar Investment Properties at its net asset value
