Why SMEs in the UAE should buy this HP laser printer

The Neverstop laser printer offers more value for money and incorporates sustainable elements in its functionality

If there’s one thing all that SMEs (and potentially most big businesses) in the UAE and across the region look for, especially in the current business environment, it is value for money. Also high on the priority list is sustainability and the drive to use products that adopt eco-friendly measures.

Seeking to tick both those boxes and offer many more advantages to small businesses, HP has launched its Neverstop laser printer, which aims to be more than just a work-tool in the office.

Billed as the world’s first cartridge-free laser printer, the Neverstop handles high volumes at low unit costs, in a bid to help small business owners get the most value from their printer. Offering 80 per cent lower toner cost, the printer gives 5,000 pages out of the box allowing SMEs to print huge volumes with no interruptions. Further, the system allows to users to reload the toner in 15 seconds, with each reload giving up to 2,500 pages.

The printer also offers up to 80 per cent savings on cost when compared to a HP original toner.

“Designed with sustainability in mind”, according to HP, more than 25 per cent of the printer and over 75 per cent of the toner reload kit is made from recycled plastic.

Also, in line with the move towards digitisation, the Neverstop offers easy mobile printing via the HP smart app, allowing users to access and print documents from their smartphone or the cloud.

With more than half of entrepreneurs and SMEs owners stating that their businesses cannot operate without a printer – according to HP’s research – the company is hoping that the Neverstop meets all their requirements.

The Neverstop laser printer was launched in the UAE in October last year, and is priced at Dhs1,149 including VAT.

Speaking at the launch, Peter Oganesean, managing director of HP, UAE and East Africa said: “SMBs form the backbone of the UAE economy, comprising of 86 per cent of the total private sector workforce and more than 60 per cent of the country’s current GDP.

“Our ambition is to fulfil our customers demand for low cost per page and the number of pages they print. That is why we’re extremely proud to introduce this game-changing technology to the UAE and play a role in the growth of the SMB sector.”
