In line with other nation-wide precautionary measures adopted to try and curb the spread of the Covid-19 contagion, the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce (SCCI) has activated the online attestation for all transactions, it announced on March 28.

The online attestation service can be availed through the chamber’s website or its smart application, replacing the physical need to visit a customer happiness centre.

The online transactions include ratifying the signature, individual sponsorship, minors’ permission, a certified true copy, guardian approval, and external transactions, as well as the possibility of online payment via credit card or prepaid from the account of the registered company.

“The SCCI is committed to finding solutions to deal with the challenges of Covid-19 and enhancing the competitiveness of the business environment in the emirate, as well as maintaining the health of community members while ensuring business continuity and efficiency,” said Mohammad Ahmed Amin Al-Awadi, director-general at the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce.

“This is achieved through the provision of smart online services covering all the needs and requirements of the business community and allowing investors to easily complete all their transactions remotely according to the highest international standards.”

The SCCI has also announcing the free commissioning of its “You call, We arrive” service which provides customers, investors, commercial and industrial companies with a fully equipped van to do their transactions at one spot. The portfolio of smart services include the issuance of memberships, certificates of origin and attestations.

The vehicle that facilitates the service is equipped with high-quality technology to serve the clients as well as comfortable seats, internet services, chargers, laptops and any service that the customer needs to carry out transactions.

Since the outbreak of the Covid-19 infection, the UAE has diagnosed a total of 468 cases across the country.
