Prior booking required through SEHA app. pic.twitter.com/mYhDx5GDvC — SEHA – شركة صحة (@SEHAHealth) May 21, 2021 While both the Pfizer-BioNTech and Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccines are now being administered across 46 centers in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and the Northern Emirates, the Pfizer jab is available for all above the age of 12, while the Sinopharm jab can only be administered to those above the age of 16. Those who are currently or have recently been infected with the Covid-19 infection, volunteers in the Covid-19 vaccine clinical trials, pregnant women, people vaccinated outside of the country, those who have severe allergies to vaccines or vaccine components, and members of the community with diseases proven to interact negatively with the vaccine are exempt from receiving the jab, Abu Dhabi Media Office reported. Prior booking is mandatory through the SEHA app. The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention has confirmed that as of Saturday, May 22, the total number of doses administered stands at 12,034,349 with vaccine distribution rate of 121.68 doses per 100 people.
