Saudi’s Flynas to begin flights to Pakistan’s Islamabad, Lahore

The routes will be operated by the carrier’s Airbus A320 fleet and new Boeing B767 aircraft

Saudi low cost carrier Flynas has announced the imminent start of flights from Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam to key Pakistani cities.

The carrier will begin flights from Riyadh to Lahore on Thursday, February 15, and Riyadh to Islamabad and Dammam to Lahore on Friday, February 16.

The first flight from Jeddah to Lahore will then come a day later on Saturday, February 17.

The routes will be operated by the carrier’s Airbus A320 fleet and new Boeing B767 aircraft and are expected to serve business travellers and Hajj and Umrah pilgrims.

Flynas CEO Bander Al-Mohanna said 2018 would be a “year of expansion” for the airline, which has a fleet of 31 A320s and flies to 17 domestic and 53 international destinations.

Omani low cost rival Salam Air also began flights to Pakistan’s Multan on February 8.
