The weather alert also included the governorates of Mahayel, Alama, Namas, Faraj, Majidah and Tanumah, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). The authority also cautioned that the heavy showers could also lead to the flow of torrents in a number of valleys of the region. On Tuesday, moderate to heavy rain was witnessed in the eastern centres of the province of Amlaj, including in Shabha, Shaqat, Ruhayat and some villages in Hada, the SPA reported. In early April this year, Asir also experienced snowfall following incessant rain and hail storms. Following six hours of rain and a drop in temperatures, layers of snow blanketed mountains and roads in parts of the region. 0 Comments
