The notes bear the motto “confidence and security”, according to a brief statement by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority. The first set of new banknotes and coins were delivered to King Salman yesterday and the second set went to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif. The new notes will be harder to forge and there is some speculation about the size, colour and design.
