Saudi Electricity Signs $682.5m Deals For Riyadh Metro

Saudi Electricity Co has signed contracts worth SAR2.56 billion ($682.5 million) to supply power to the Riyadh metro, which is currently under construction, the Kingdom’s state news agency reported on Tuesday.

The Saudi Arabian government awarded in July 2013 contracts worth $22.5 billion to three foreign-led consortia for the design and construction of the metro due to be completed in 2019.
