Al Bader joined Almarai more than 20 years ago, and has held several leadership positions across the manufacturing, distribution, sales, marketing, and support services divisions. Prior to being appointed CEO, he was the executive vice president for bakery since 2015, the company said in a bourse statement. The incumbent holds a master’s degree in business administration from University of Leicester, UK. Almarai recorded SAR1.98bn in consolidated profit attributable to shareholders for the year ended December 31, 2020, marking an increase of 9.5 per cent as compared to SAR1.81bn in 2019. Meanwhile, its revenues for 2020 amounted to SAR15.35bn.
