Three direct weekly flights will depart every Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday from Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport to Sohag International Airport, commencing October 30. Meanwhile, another three direct weekly flights will depart every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh to Sohag International Airport, as of Tuesday, November 1. The addition of direct flights to Sohag forms part of the Saudi carrier’s expansion strategy. Passengers can book their flights via the carrier’s website or app, through its call centre or travel agents. Flynas commenced direct flights between Jeddah and the Uzbek capital Tashkent this month. The number of passengers on its flights also increased to about four million during the first half of 2022, up nearly 120 per cent from about 1.8 million in the same period last year. In July, flynas announced the launch of first direct flights between AlUla and the Egyptian capital, Cairo, due to commence in October this year.
