Khodari’s new activities will include supplying and installing solar energy equipment and systems, it said in a statement to the Saudi bourse. It would also provide contractor services, maintenance and other operations for nuclear energy, the company said without giving details of the size of expected business. The government body responsible for planning the Saudi energy mix said in 2012 that the world’s top oil exporter planned to install around 41 gigawatts of solar power over the next 20 years as well as about 17 GW of nuclear capacity.
