View this post on Instagram A post shared by The Penthouse Dubai (@thepenthousedubai) The enchantment of medieval magic and intrigue are conjured to life during the Maskerade evening brunch at the newly revamped jungle-styled restaurant. You can expect every detail to be grandiose; staff dressed in medieval gowns, tables festooned with masks and strings of silver glitz, while displays mimicking stage sets supply the backdrop for an evening of merriment. We began our experience sipping on a refreshing cocktail – the FIVE Mojito (white run, passion fruit, citrus), followed by an enviable selection of gourmet, sharing style starters including Marinated Wagyu With Crispy Taco Shell, Crispy Vegetable Spring Rolls Served With A Sweet Plum Sauce, Chicken Skewers, Tuna Crackers Served With A Creamy Truffle Mayo And A Seaweed And Mixed Greens Salad. For mains, we were spoilt for choice with a mouth-watering selection of hits from the menu such as Grilled Lamb Chops Served with Smoked Eggplant Purée, The Penthouse’s Famed, Miso Marinated Black Cod or a Chef Selection of Sushi Rolls. There’s also an option for vegetarians who can opt for the Deep-Fried Eggplant with Dengaku Miso. We ended the dinner on a sweet note with a Dessert Platter featuring A Japanese-Inspired Cheesecake filled with cherry and Adzuki bean, indulgent Chocolate and Kinako Ice-Cream. With brilliant food and fantastic service complemented by live performances and DJ sets by resident DJ Drew Moreland and an after party by talented German export, DJ Arado, , this brunch is bound to get you in the party mood. As good as it sounds, the food was delectable and the service was excellent throughout the evening. Accompanied by techno tunes from the resident DJ, the brunch is an evening soiree that sets the tone for a weekend of fun and frivolity. You can expect live DJ sets, entertainment, and the best vibes in town every Thursday for the Maskerade evening brunch from 8:30pm-11:30pm, priced at Dhs250 for ladies and Dhs350 for men.
