Review: The ROG Flow X16 – an ultra-slim 2-in-1 laptop with ultimate power

ASUS has released the ROG Flow X16 (GV601), an ultra-slim 16-inch device that incorporates XG mobile compatibility as well as a more powerful standalone GPU. The device is a potent gaming notebook with high-end multimedia features.

Design and display
Measuring just 19.4mm thick, the ultra-thin magnesium alloy chassis of the Flow X16 has a ‘gravity wave’ textured pattern. Additionally, the sandblasting finish provides better grip when carrying it.

Apart from the performance, cooling solutions are also an important aspect of every laptop. ROG has carefully planned perforations in the chassis, and its Frost Force Technology with Pulsar heatsink sends airflow toward internal components to keep them cool under all circumstances. Audio reinforced features
