Home GCC Revealed: LinkedIn unveils the GCC’s most ‘engaging’ users in 2020 The list revealed 15 regional experts that led professional online conversations by Benjamin Brank November 30, 2020 Professional networking portal LinkedIn has compiled a list of the platform’s most active members in the GCC, based on key metrics relating to engagement monitored from October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020. These members have successfully curated valuable discussions and engaged in dialogue with other users on the platform, while keeping their followers informed about the region. “As a result of the pandemic, conversations and engagement across the platform significantly increased this year,” stated Salma Altantawy, MENA news editor at LinkedIn. Members spent more time learning and understanding its full potential, while using the platform to stay updated and join discussions that interested them, she added. The initial assessment was created based on discussions, comments, re-shares, posting frequency, and follower growth on the platform after close supervision by LinkedIn’s MENA editors.
