See inside Dubai’s Dhs600m penthouse, along with ‘Hay Room’

A basketball court, an outdoor cinema, a spa, and a cigar lounge are just some of the amenities of the expansive 77,707 square feet penthouse at a Raffles-branded development in Dubai, which has just gone up for sale.

Emerald Palace Group (EPG), which owns the luxurious Raffles The Palm Dubai, has announced the development’s Super Penthouse R1, is up for grabs for a whopping Dhs600m or $163m.

The size and the cost make it the largest private residence in the history of the city. In fact, it is even bigger than the White House, home to the US President.

The property comprises of the top three levels and rooftop of the majestic Raffles The Palm Dubai Residences.

The developer promises the plush penthouse will “redefine the pinnacle of luxury living at one of the most coveted locations in Dubai”.

The renders of the Super Penthouse R1 showcase a magnificent structure, designed in collaboration with Miami-based architectural firm YoDezeen, and will feature “a contemporary design with a dash of modernity and elegance,” the listing said.

The water-front property which offers views of the Arabian Gulf, features a private elevator that opens directly to the Grand Saloon on the first level of the triplex, which offers a large sitting room with access to the terrace.

There’s also the 20-person dining area and a kitchen with Teppanyaki cooking surfaces.

Other amenities include – a top-notch gym, spa and wellness area with a Cryogenic room, a Hay relaxation room, an outdoor swimming pool, bar and barbecue area, minigolf within a meditation garden, indoor/outdoor cinema lounge, a basketball court, 10 parking lots, a unique cigar lounge and a bar offering 360-degree views of the Arabian Gulf and the skyline.

EPG said this iconic super-penthouse offers customisation options for buyers, where they can choose additional exquisite features to create their own personal piece of paradise in the heart of Dubai. The handover term for the development is stated to be 15 months from going into contract.
