Restaurant review: Selectshop FRAME
Coffee from around the world and perhaps the city’s best ramen can be found here
This is not your typical concept store. Besides the curated Japanese fashion experience with brands like Undercover and Visvim that you can’t get anywhere else in Dubai, Frame is also a very sophisticated coffee shop.
The owner, Peter, is not only looking to get the best vinyl of rare electronic music but to offer some of the best coffee beans in town.
Frame is all about coffee. One of its suppliers is La Cabra, a quite famous Danish establishment that has won every possible barista award in northern Europe.

Their beans come from all over the World and they track every single step of their journey to ensure that the whole process is ethical and that the original farmers are paid a premium from market standards.
Probably one of the best signs of Frame’s commitment to coffee is that the place is always full and you can tell, from the moment you step in, that the crowd takes their coffee very seriously.
And that’s not all, just next to the coffee shop is YUI, the sibling of Frame, linked by a hallway, where you can have probably the best ramen in the city.
