Singapore’s Resorts World Cruises to launch cruises from Dubai

Resorts World Cruises, a Singapore-based global luxury cruise operator, is set to offer premium sea holidays for Dubai travellers with its boutique cruise ship, Resorts World One (RW1), in the Arabian Gulf and Gulf of Oman from November 1

The six-month homeport deployment in Dubai marks the company’s expansion into the Middle Eastern market, offering luxury-seeking travellers an exclusive boutique cruising experience.

RW1 will embark from Dubai, providing a range of itineraries, including visits to popular destinations such as Sir Bani Yas, Doha, Khasab and Muscat.

Resorts World Cruises’ offerings

Passengers can enjoy a blend of adventure, entertainment, and high-end amenities on board.

Highlights include halal-certified five-star cuisine, and an all-butler service as part of “The Palace” – an all-suite, private club experience offering luxurious accommodations, priority bookings, and exclusive onboard amenities.

The cruise ship also features a variety of dining options, including international and authentic Asian cuisine, with a focus on halal-friendly offerings.

Resorts World Cruises is offering an introductory price starting at $150 per person to celebrate the launch.

The itineraries range from two to three nights, with flexible options to combine them for a longer voyage.

The ship will make 75 calls in the region over six months, targeting a new segment of fly-cruise passengers from the GCC region.

President of Resorts World Cruises, Michael Goh emphasised the company’s vision to create a cultural fusion and provide Middle Eastern travellers with an unparalleled luxury cruise experience.

“The deployment of Resorts World One symbolises not only a bridge between nations but also boundless opportunities for travellers to explore, discover, and create unforgettable memories in the region,” Goh said.

Resorts World Cruises operates with homeports across Asia, including Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong Taiwan, and Indonesia.

The Dubai deployment is expected to contribute significantly to the growth of cruise tourism in the region, attracting around 150,000 passengers during the six months.
