Qatar Airways Group CEO, Engineer Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, emphasised that the move would facilitate innovation and productivity, key drivers of the airline’s future success. He stated, “As Qatar Airways continues to grow, we believe in investing in our greatest resource; our employees. This relocation represents the first major office shift for Qatar Airways Group, which currently operates from three separate buildings in the Old Airport area of Doha.

The new headquarters will be situated in one of Msheireb Properties’ flagship developments, which is owned by the Qatar Foundation.

Engineer Saad Al Muhannadi, vice chairperson of Msheireb Properties, expressed pride in welcoming the airline to the district, highlighting its role in positioning Msheireb as a global centre for business excellence.

We are eager to welcome Qatar Airways into the Msheireb Downtown Doha family, sharing a commitment to sustainable development and a desire to build a human-centric community in Qatar.”

The new headquarters, located on Al Nakheel Street, will stand as the tallest building in Msheireb, offering spectacular views of Doha’s skyline.
