Home GCC Qatar Qatar Airways to operate 55 total flights b/w Dammam and Doha for FIFA World Cup The carrier will operate additional 25 flights around the match days of the Saudi national team by Zainab Mansoor September 29, 2022 Qatar Airways will increase flights between Dammam and Doha during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. The airline has ramped up services to provide further options for football fans in Saudi Arabia to support their national team. In addition to the five daily flights that is part of the winter schedule, the airline will add another five flights around the matches where the Saudi National team is set to play. These include Saudi Arabia versus Argentina on November 22; versus Poland on November 26; and versus Mexico on November 30. This service is designed to connect fans to Qatar so they can attend their respective matches. Visitors can arrive a day before the match or choose to stay a day after the match. Potential travellers can book tickets on the carrier’s website, which is offering a special fare of SAR1,436. Qatar Airways is currently operating more than 100 weekly flights to five key cities in the kingdom, namely Riyadh, Jeddah, Medina, Dammam, and Qassim. Saudi Arabia-based carrier Saudia, has also said that it will operate several hundred extra flights over the duration of the World Cup.
