Qatar Airways will begin four-times weekly flights to Hangzhou from December 20 2013.
The non-stop service from Doha to the capital city of China’s Zhejiang Province will be operated by A330 aircraft, with 24 business class and 236 economy class seats. Flights will operate on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Hangzhou, which is the fourth-largest metropolitan area in China, is known for its rich history and picturesque scenery.
Qatar Airways’ CEO Akbar Al Baker said its seventh route in China will provide additional connectivity for business and leisure travellers coming from Asia, the Middle East and GCC countries, and follows the launch of Chengdu services two months ago.
