Qatar Airways announces Doha-Dublin flights

The carrier will begin the service from June next year

Qatar Airways has announced it will begin daily non-stop flights from Doha to Dubai next year.

The carrier will begin the service from June 12 2017 with two different flight times depending on the day of the week.

On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays QR19 will take off from Doha at 1:25am and arrive in Dublin at 7:25am.

The return flight, QR20 will depart from Dublin at 8:50am and arrive in Doha at 6:05pm.

On Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays QR17 will depart from Doha at 7:20am and arrive at 1:20pm.

Return flight, QR18, will depart at 3:25pm and arrive at 12:40am the next day.

“The launch of flights to Dublin, the capital of Ireland, is an exciting addition to our network and I am confident that business and leisure passengers will benefit from our Boeing 787 Dreamliner service and smooth onward connections through our home and hub, Hamad International Airport,” said Qatar Airways group CEO Akbar Al Baker.

Qatar’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner serving the route will feature 254 seats with 22 business class and 232 economy.

The airline has announced 13 new destinations so far this year including Atlanta, Boston, Los Angeles; Birmingham, Helsinki, Pisa, Yerevan, Armenia, Marrakech, Ras Al Khaimah, Windhoek, Sydney, Adelaide, Krabi and the Seychelles.

Qatar Airways has also revealed plans to fly to 15 new destinations next year.
