Public parking free in Dubai and Abu Dhabi on Thursday for Hijri New Year

Public parking is free in Dubai and Abu Dhabi on Thursday for Hijri New Year.

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) confirmed that all public parking except multi-storey spaces will be free of charge on Thursday, August 12.

Meanwhile Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) also said public parking spaces would be free on Thursday, August 12, until 7.59am on Saturday, August 14.

ITC also said that parking spaces in Mussafah industrial area (M18) would be free during the holiday.

Meanwhile the Darb toll gates will also be free of charge on Thursday, it added.
