Hotel chain Premier Inn has opened its seventh property in the UAE, and largest in the region – Premier Inn Al Jaddaf.

A joint venture between Emirates Group and Whitbread, the new hotel was officially inaugurated by Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, chairman and CEO of Emirates Group, who unveiled a plaque to mark the occasion and toured the guest rooms, restaurants, and public areas.

The hotel features 389 rooms, from double occupancy to those that can accommodate a family of four, with leisure facilities including a gym, and a rooftop swimming pool with gazebo seating area and panoramic views of the Al Jaddaf area.

Among its F&B options are all-day dining restaurant Nuevo, traditional British pub concept Mr Toad’s, and Costa Coffee.

“Since the opening of its first hotel [in the UAE] in 2009, Premier Inn has established a strong presence with its consistent services, and excellent value proposition, contributing to the rich variety of hospitality options in Dubai,”said Sheikh Ahmed during the inauguration.

“We are sure that this modern, conveniently located and well-equipped hotel will be as popular as the other six facilities in its UAE network.”

Adam Nicholls, managing director of Premier Inn Hotels Middle East, added: “We’re really pleased to add Premier Inn Dubai Al Jaddaf to our portfolio, our strongest proposition in the UAE and our largest hotel in the region.

“Dubai is a city that continues to grow, and our investment into the region doesn’t stop here, with further hotel openings on the horizon. We’re continually looking at ways to enhance our guest experience, to offer a market leading product and provide a proposition that represents excellent value for money.”

The opening ceremony was also attended by Gary Chapman, president group services & dnata, Emirates Group, and Adam Nicholls, managing director Premier Inn Middle East.

Premier Inn opened its first UAE hotel in Dubai Investments Park in 2009, and its regional branch now offers the most rooms outside of the UK.
