Dan Company is focused on transforming Saudi Arabia’s tourism sector through agri-tourism, eco-tourism, and adventure-based experiences. The company’s integrated business model includes owned and franchised assets, contributing to the kingdom’s goal of enhancing its tourism offerings and fostering a deeper connection between people and nature. Tuaja will feature three distinct types of resorts – Tuaja Premium Farm Resort, Tuaja Eco Resort, and Tuaja Adventure Resort – each catering to different guest preferences. The resorts are designed with sustainability at their core, featuring innovative practices to preserve nature and promote environmental responsibility, in line with Saudi Arabia’s broader tourism and economic objectives. Guests will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on agricultural activities, including farm-to-table cooking experiences and tastings of fresh, locally-grown produce. The resort aims to provide an authentic agricultural experience while maintaining a luxurious environment. Tuaja Eco Resort is designed for those seeking relaxation and tranquillity in a serene, eco-conscious environment. Featuring expansive relaxation areas, water channels, and nature-inspired spaces, the resort emphasizes wellness and sustainability. Guests can indulge in meditative practices and health treatments using natural products, while the resort itself champions environmental preservation and resource conservation. Tuaja Adventure Resort is tailored for thrill-seekers and outdoor enthusiasts, offering a wide range of activities and experiences suited to the natural landscapes of each location. The resort aims to deliver exciting adventures for all ages, making it a perfect destination for families, groups, and individuals looking to explore Saudi Arabia’s diverse terrain in an adventurous yet safe setting. Al-Ahsa: The first destination for Tuaja Resorts The hospitality brand’s first three resorts will be located in Al-Ahsa, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province. Known for its lush date palm groves and rich agricultural history, Al-Ahsa is home to the world’s largest date palm oasis, making it an ideal location for agritourism. The resorts will occupy a 1.8 million square meter master development, which aims to transform the region into a premier farm-based tourism destination. Visitors will be able to experience Al-Ahsa’s lush surroundings, its agricultural heritage, and its unique cultural and natural attractions. Tuaja’s collaboration with Hilton will bring world-class hospitality to the area, combining luxury accommodations with local authenticity and environmental responsibility. The first resorts will offer distinct experiences for guests: Tuaja Premium Farm Resort will provide luxury and exploration, Tuaja Eco Resort will focus on wellness and relaxation, and Tuaja Adventure Resort will offer outdoor activities, all set within Al-Ahsa. Expansion plans Looking ahead, Tuaja plans to open additional resorts across Saudi Arabia by 2030, with each resort inspired by the culture and heritage of the host city. The brand’s commitment to sustainability, community empowerment, and cultural authenticity aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 objectives to diversify its tourism offering and create unique experiences that showcase the kingdom’s natural beauty.
