In Pictures: Dubai Tram’s Official Launch And Maiden Run
The opening of Dubai’s latest infrastructure project and the star attraction in pictures.
The much anticipated launch of the Dubai Tram took place on the evening of November 11.
The tram was flagged off on its inaugral ride by Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, crown prince of Dubai. The event was also attended by many senior officials from the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).
The tram will begin passenger services from 6.30 am on Wednesday, November 12.
