PCR test ‘must’ to visit Dubai Police stations

Those who wish to visit Dubai Police stations and buildings must provide a valid PCR test not older than 48 hours, the force has announced.

However, fully vaccinated customers are exempted from this directive.

The rule will come into effect from Saturday, February 13.

Public can alternatively perform transactions through the force’s smart channels, including its app, website, call centre (901) and Smart Police Stations (SPS), which operate 24/7 and without human intervention.

The Sharjah Police also issued a similar directive this week, mandating all visitors to present a negative Covid test result or proof of vaccination, prior to entering its buildings.
