Pakistan Pavilion unveils theme, logo for Expo 2020 Dubai

Pakistan has unveiled its logo for Expo 2020 Dubai and the theme at an event in the presence of ministers and top government officials.

The theme The Hidden Treasure, offers an immersive walkthrough experience, and aims to showcase the country’s opportunities in tourism and commerce and investment.

Visitors will be taken on a voyage from the world’s first recorded civilizations to the millennium of today which include virtual experiences of landscapes, cultural and religious diversity, artisan traditions, and economic potentials, a statement said. The pavilion also entails a Pakistani cuisine restaurant ‘The Dhabba’ and a souvenir shop.

The curtain raiser event for Pakistan Pavilion in Expo 2020 Dubai was attended by Pakistan’s Federal Minister of Information and Broadcasting Chaudhary Fawad Hussain, advisor to the Prime Minister for Commerce and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood, Trade Development Authority of Pakistan CEO Arif Ahmed Khan, Trustees from Patrons of Expo 2020, and the advisory committee.

The Expo 2020 will be held in Dubai, UAE, from October 1, 2021 until March 31, 2022, and has a theme of ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future‘. The first World Expo in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia region, Expo 2020 Dubai will welcome participation of 192 countries.
