Home Technology Cloud Oracle boosts investment in Abu Dhabi with new innovation hub The hub will act as a catalyst to inspire and empower creative ideas that will enable the digital future by Divsha Bhat September 21, 2022 Oracle has announced the opening of an innovation hub in Abu Dhabi to help foster digital innovation and support the growth of the Emirate’s knowledge economy. Located at its Abu Dhabi office on Al Reem Island, the new facility named ‘Al Mustaqbal Oracle Innovation Hub’, will act as a platform for Abu Dhabi’s public sector entities, Oracle customers and partners to understand the potential of emerging technologies better. The innovation hub will also offer training and upskilling programmes in the latest digital technologies for Abu Dhabi’s Emirati students, entrepreneurs, and women in tech. The hub was inaugurated by Dr Mohamed Abdelhameed Al Askar, director–general, Abu Dhabi Digital Authority, who stated: “The Oracle Innovation Hub is the perfect place where countless minds will join hands to share knowledge, inspire, collaborate, innovate and empower new creations in Abu Dhabi. The Al Mustaqbal Oracle Innovation Hub is the company’s second innovation hub in the UAE. The company’s Zayed Innovation Hub’ in Dubai has hosted many public and private sector executives from across the UAE and around the world over the past few years for trainings, mentorship sessions and joint exploration of innovative ideas. Through the Zayed Innovation Hub, Oracle has also upskilled more than 1000 Emirati Higher Colleges of Technology graduates in the latest digital technologies.
