This is in order to upgrade certain equipment,” the company said in an emailed statement. “The mini-turnaround will take three weeks from start to finish – including shutdown and startup. There will be no impact on customer supply.” Orpic operates two refineries: Sohar with a total processing capacity of 116,000 barrels per day (bpd) of Omani crude and Mina al-Fahal.
