The sighting of the crescent of the month of Dhu Al Hijjah for the year 1444 AH has been confirmed, Oman News Agency said on Twitter. The sighting of the crescent means that the annual Hajj pilgrimage will begin on June 26 and Arafat Day in Oman will fall on Tuesday, June 27.
