Obama, Calls GCC Leaders, Makes Case For Iran Deal

U.S. President Barack Obama on Friday spoke with the leaders of Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates to share details on the framework agreement reached with Iran, the White House said in a statement.

The US president had called Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud on Thursday to discuss the deal.

Obama also invited the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council to meet with him at Camp David this spring to discuss the tentative deal.
