Nominations now open for Gulf Business Awards 2022

Gulf Business, part of Dubai-headquartered Motivate Media Group, has opened the nominations for the 2022 edition of the ‘Gulf Business Awards’.

The nominations cover companies and business leaders across multiple industry verticals, including tourism, hospitality, healthcare, transport and logistics, real estate and construction, and banking, finance and investment, among others. See the list of categories here.

The last date to submit nominations is Monday, October 17.

Some of the most sought-after accolades remain the business excellence awards, which include the ‘Gulf Business Company of the Year’ and ‘Gulf Business Leader of the Year‘.

The individual excellence awards acknowledge luminaries from the region who have shaped the economic and social landscape in their respective fields. These awards include the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ and ‘Businesswoman of the Year’.

In 2021, Gulf Business presented the coveted Lifetime Achievement Award to Colm McLoughlin, executive vice chairman and CEO of Dubai Duty Free, for his outstanding contribution to the travel retail industry. Khadija Al Bastaki, executive director, Dubai Design District was named Businesswoman of the Year.

The company and business leaders’ shortlists will be evaluated and judged on criteria such as innovation, growth, financial results, product quality, service delivery and corporate social responsibility.

Once the nominations close and shortlists are created, an expert panel of judges will evaluate the entries and rank them accordingly.
