Nissan rolls out manufacturer-backed warranty for pre-owned programme in the Middle East

On Wednesday, Nissan said that its Nissan Intelligent Choice fleet of Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicles will now be offered with manufacturer-backed warranty across several countries in the Middle East.

All Nissan CPO vehicles will therefore be backed with up to two-year or 60,000km manufacturer warranty.

Regionally, the Nissan Intelligent Choice is available to customers in the UAE Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan and Lebanon. Recording a year-on-year increase in sales, over 5,000 Nissan Intelligent Choice of certified pre-owned vehicles have been sold across the region to date.

All CPO vehicles sold under the Nissan Intelligent Choice programme pass a stringent 167-point inspection and reconditioning process, focusing on the cosmetic and mechanical aspects of a vehicle.

All vehicles within the CPO fleet must be less than five years old, have a clean history, and an untampered mileage of under 150,000km. The warranty programme offers regional coverage and is transferable to other owners.

There are a total of nine Nissan Intelligent Choice locations spread across seven markets in the region and Nissan has said that it is dedicated to expanding the reach of the programme regionally over the coming months. Nissan Intelligent Choice is currently available at Nissan sales centers in the region represented by Arabian Automobiles Company in Dubai and Northern Emirates, Al Masaood Automobiles in Abu Dhabi and Western Region, Saleh Al Hamad Al Mana in Qatar, Al-Babtain Group in Kuwait, and Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons in Bahrain, Bustami & Saheb Trading Co in Jordan, and Rasamny-Younis Motor Company in Lebanon.
