Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Neymar Jr have agreed to the forward’s transfer offer to Saudi Pro League Club Al Hilal.

Neymar will reportedly earn EUR130m a year in Saudi while PSG will receive EUR90m for the Brazilian. Neymar’s move away from the club follows former teammate Lionel Messi who left PSG for Inter Miami earlier this year.

PSG bought Neymar for a world record EUR222m from Barcelona in 2017.

According to reports in leading international news platforms, the PSG player is undergoing his medical today and is expected to complete his move in the next 48 hours.

Neymar missed PSG’s season-opening against Lorient in the French league on Saturday. He trained alone on Friday, with the club saying he was recovering from a viral infection.

Neymar follows in Ronaldo’s footsteps

Neymar is the latest in a string of big player acquisitions that have been carried out by various Saudi Pro League clubs this year. From Cristiano Ronaldo to Karim Benzema to Jordan Henderson, have been recruited to play in the kingdom’s professional football league.
