Looking ahead, following yesterday’s heavy rainfall across the UAE, a light drizzle was observed early this morning in Dubai, Sharjah, and Ras Al Khaimah, accompanied by a notable decrease in temperatures across the Emirates.

NCM issues yellow alert

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued yellow alerts in Al Ain, warning motorists of potential fog and reduced visibility on roads until 9.00 am.

Cloudy conditions are forecasted throughout the day, particularly in the eastern regions of the country.

Unstable weather to continue

The NCM reports the likelihood of low clouds forming over the East coast, with possible rain clouds developing by afternoon, especially in areas such as Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah.

Residents are advised to refrain from visiting wadis, valleys, and flood-prone areas, while motorists are urged to exercise caution, reduce speed, and avoid waterlogged areas.

Temperature-wise, the maximum daytime temperatures are expected to range between 29-33 degrees C, with nighttime lows between 10-15 degrees C. Coastal areas will experience highs of 27-31 degrees C, while mountainous regions will see temperatures of 19-24 degrees C.

Relative humidity is anticipated to increase by Thursday morning, leading to fog and mist formation over some internal and coastal areas.

Moderate southwesterly to northwesterly winds, ranging from 20 – 35 km/h and occasionally reaching 40 km/h, are expected to blow dust across the country.

By evening, sea conditions are forecasted to be moderate to slight in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
