Marriott’s sizeable Middle East portfolio is about to expand with the arrival of Delta Hotels.
The four-star, 360-room Delta Hotels by Marriott Jumeirah Beach in Dubai marks the entry of the brand in the region. Online rates for stays this week are priced from Dhs319 a night (standard room).
Delta Hotels are designed to provide “simple yet full-service premium hospitality”.
Guests can access free wifi, three multi-function rooms and a business centre.
The hotel also offers dining options “that fit seamlessly into the travel flow” including Brazilian restaurant Fogueira on the 35th floor, classic American pub – Speakeasy, Shores – an all-day dining venue, La Sala – which offers classic Italian, and the Sama Lounge.
Other amenities include a fitness centre, a spa and an outdoor pool.
Marriott bought the brand, which is well represented across Canada, in 2015 and is now stepping up its international roll-out with Frankfurt open, three openings earmarked for the UK this year and 37 in the global pipeline.
