The National Bank of Fujairah has been a vocal advocate for improving levels of Emiratisation across the industry – it’s own ratio stands at 41 per cent. As well as pursuing outreach efforts and participating in career fairs aimed at recruiting local citizens, the lender also implemented a programme in 2010 to train promising Emiratis for leadership positions.
Established in 1984, the National Bank of Fujairah has 14 branches and 27 ATMs across the emirate. The lender employs 607 staff while its majority shareholder is the government’s Department of Industry and Economy.
