Overall, Qatari banks saw net profits improve by eight per cent and return on assets was 2.2 per cent in 2012 against 2.4 per cent in 2011. Recorded asset growth was over 20 per cent.
Commercial Bank of Qatar fared well, seeing higher than average ROA at 2.51 and net profits rising 6.81 per cent from the period 2011-2012.
