Ziad Bin Mohammed Al Shiha

THE NEW CEO of Saudi Electric is leading a $32 billion portfolio of planned power projects to meet the country’s annual energy demand growth of around eight per cent. His recent project launches include the 600MW Integrated Solar Combined-Cycle gas power plant in the western Red Sea pot of Duba, one of the largest of its kind in the world. Al-Shiha was formerly executive director for power systems at Saudi Aramco where he championed supply and demand efficiency and cogeneration plants.
