AFTER CELEBRATING HIS airline’s tenth anniversary in 2013, the party carried on for Ali last year. Air Arabia’s Q3 profit was up 22 per cent to Dhs247.4 million, beating forecasts, revenue rose 25 per cent to Dhs1.06 billion and the carrier made in roads in several key markets. These included Ras Al Khaimah, where Air Arabia took over from RAK Airways, and the acquisition of a 49 per cent stake in Petra Airlines, to establish a hub at Amman’s Queen Alia International Airport.
