The $6.4bn project is not the only major move on the horizon, with a $3.5bn expansion of the company’s Ras Al Khair aluminium facility also expected to progress this year. With international partnerships also being signed, and deals to provide countries such as Bangladesh with phosphate fertiliser, Ma’aden is looking as strong as ever with Al Mudaifer at the helm.
