As the deputy group CEO of the Kuwait’s biggest lender – National Bank of Kuwait (NBK), Shaikha Al Bahar occupies one of the highest positions in the country’s financial sector. With extensive experience in institutional finance including privatisations, project finance, bond issues and IPOs, she has also been involved in all of the Kuwait Investment Authority’s (KIA) privatisation deals since 1994.
