Home GCC UAE Kris Jenner launches business school in Dubai Kardashian matriarch plans to set up school first in New York, then the UAE by Eleanor Dickinson April 18, 2016 Reality television star Kris Jenner is to launch a legacy business school in the United Arab Emirates. The mother to the Kardashian siblings came to Dubai to launch the school, which opens in New York City in September. Then, thanks to the efforts of Jenner’s close friend Carla Di Bello, a campus will then open in Dubai, and Jenner will act as chairperson of the school’s board. DiBello said the pair were still looking at locations in the city and could not confirm a launch date. Legacy is a private business school of higher education offering Bachelor, MSc, MBA and Certificate Programmes at its flagship location in New York’s Fifth Avenue and soon in its new location in Dubai. The school will focus on fashion management and Jenner says she’d be willing to allow students to intern with her family’s businesses “if they have the right passion for it”, she told a press conference this week. More than just reality TV stars, the Kardashian-Jenner business empire carried by Kris and her children, Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kylie and Kendall, plus Jenner’s ex-husband Caitlyn, has an estimated net worth of over $300m, more than Dhs 1bn. This marks Jenner’s second visit to Dubai. In 2011, she stopped by with Kim to launch Millions of Milkshakes, a milkshake bar in Dubai Mall, and brought the Keeping up with the Kardashians camera crew with her. A spokesperson for Jenner said: “Extending beyond the classroom, Legacy offers premiere amenities; dining and shopping options, as well as prime student services. By delivering elite personalised treatment to students, Legacy blurs the line between school and leisure in order to captivate minds in an impactful way.” 0 Comments
