World’s first longevity-focused island residences unveiled in UAE

Knight Frank MENA’s exclusive project sales division has been appointed to lead the launch of the latest phase of SHA Residences Emirates Island, the world’s first private island dedicated to healthy living and longevity.

Developed by IMKAN, the project combines private residences with seven-star hospitality and access to SHA Emirates’ world-class health and wellness services. Located on Sahel al Emarat – known as the ‘Riviera of the Emirates’ – the island offers a lifestyle centred on wellness and longevity, supported by land, air, and sea connectivity, including two marinas.

SHA, a global pioneer in health and longevity with award-winning properties in Spain and Mexico, has transformed the lives of more than 70,000 guests since 2008. SHA Residences Emirates Island represents the evolution of this philosophy, offering private home ownership for the first time in the region.

This latest phase includes 51 sustainable 1–4 bedroom apartments, 19 Garden Villas, and 67 Beach and Shoreline Villas inspired by Al Jurf’s natural landscape. Shoreline Villas will feature direct beach access and private jetties, while Garden Villas will be set among greenery with terraces and pools.

Healthy living is embedded into the design, with homes featuring advanced air purification systems, natural materials such as wood and stone, and dynamic lighting that supports natural sleep cycles. Residents will also have access to facilities including the Movement Pavilion, Hydrotherapy Circuit, Healthy Nutrition Pavilion, and the Mind & Body Pavilion.

Strategically located between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Al Jurf offers easy access to Zayed International Airport, Al Maktoum International Airport, Dubai International Airport, and Saadiyat Island. A future high-speed Etihad Rail service will further enhance connectivity between Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

The first residences are scheduled for handover in 2027, with prices ranging from Dhs9m to Dhs130m.
