The facility, set to span 40,000 square metres, represents a significant Dhs90m investment aimed at producing industrial parts, components, machinery, and equipment for the oil and gas, locomotive, and defence sectors. Mohamed Al Khadar Al Ahmed, CEO of KEZAD Group, highlighted the importance of the project in driving sustained economic growth and supporting the UAE’s strategic vision of economic diversification. Nooruddin F Daud, partner at Apex Engineering Industries, expressed optimism about contributing to the UAE’s engineering and manufacturing ecosystem, particularly in Abu Dhabi. The plant will also include unique material treatment processes that enhance the lifecycle of metal wear parts. New solar plant to be set up in KEZAD In other news, Abundance Solar Panel Industries, another UAE-based company, entered into a 50-year land lease agreement with KEZAD Group to build a 27,000-square-metre solar panel manufacturing plant in KEZAD.
