Low-cost carrier IndiGo is expanding its Dubai operations with daily flights to Bengaluru and Kozikhode from December 15 and January 2 respectively.

Outbound Bengaluru flight departs 1050 and arrives 1620 local time while the return flight departs Bengaluru 0720 and arrives in Dubai 0950.

Kozikhode flights depart Dubai 0525 and arrive 1050, returning 0200 and arriving in Dubai 0420.

Neither destination is currently served by a low-cost option from Dubai, although Emirates flies three-times daily to Bengaluru. Both services will depart from Dubai International Terminal 1.

Aditya Ghosh, president, IndiGo, said its eight daily flights from Dubai to India are testimony to the good prospects for business and leisure traffic, as well as two-way flows of students and young working professionals.

This year the airline placed an order for 250 A320s and received its 100th aircraft.
