In pics: UAE President, regional leaders inspect tourism project in Egypt

UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi inspected the Regal Heights Hotel, an investment project in Egypt’s Al Alamein City.

Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of Jordan, and Mustafa Al Kadhimi, Prime Minister of Iraq, also accompanied the presidents to visit the site.

The leaders were briefed about the five-star hotel – which features several tourist facilities – followed by a fireworks display and a parachute performance.

President el-Sisi hosted a dinner banquet in honour of his guest leaders, official news agency WAM reported.

Sheikh Mohamed and his Egyptian counterpart welcomed the Bahraini, Jordanian and Iraqi leaders upon arrival at Al Alamein International Airport, where they all exchanged talks about the brotherly bilateral ties binding the five Arab countries and their people.

President el-Sisi expressed his appreciation for the close historical ties that the Egyptian leadership and people harbour towards brotherly Arab countries.

Sheikh Mohamed had arrived in Al Alamein City on August 21 on a visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt. The two leaders exchanged views regarding several issues of mutual interest and regional and global developments.
