The Arts Club Dubai is the first international outpost of the London’s private members’ club located in the Dubai International Financial District (DIFC), and offers stunning views of Downtown Dubai. The rooftop terrace which will be open seven days a week has an outdoor bar that serves some of the Club’s signature cocktails, small plates, live DJ sets and features intimate tables and luxurious cabanas. The eclectic design of the space, created in collaboration with Dimorestudio, offers a vivid colour palette, plush seating and lush greenery all around. The fifth floor also features the famed Oscuro cigar lounge, imported from London and adapted for Dubai. At Oscuro, members can enjoy fine cigars, chosen by Alberto Lucchelli, The Arts Club’s Master of Habanos. Also on the fifth floor is the Club’s late night music lounge, Vega, that combines visual and cultural cues from the 1970s in the form of fabrics, wooden flooring, polished brass and geometric patterns inspired by that decade. Texture, colour and light are all carefully layered and combined to produce a high-low mix of both retro glamour and modern design codes. The space will host local and regional musical talent. Vega which will operate only on Fridays and Saturdays from 11.30pm-3am, is well equipped with full soundproofing, floor-to-wall acoustic treatment and digital stereo sound, which transmit a completely lossless audio experience from source to speaker. Playing modern dance music with a focus on afro tech, melodic house and new disco, Vega features a customised sound system, dazzling lighting rig, purpose-built DJ suite, VIP area and dedicated cocktail bar. “This new space is the final glorious piece of our Club opening. A destination in its own right, the fifth floor offers yet another layer of experience for our Members, complementing the plethora of lounges, restaurants and terraces we already have,” said Ajaz Sheikh, CEO of The Arts Club Dubai.
