How PureHealth is advancing healthcare services

PureHealth has partnered with Dell Technologies to leverage generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) across healthcare services including early disease detection, medical data analysis and personalised treatment plans to advance Abu Dhabi’s health ecosystem further.

The partnership will harness the collective resources and technologies of both entities to improve health outcomes by ensuring access to advanced medical solutions and services.

It will also accelerate long-term preparedness and agility.

Abu Dhabi-based healthcare firm seeks to use Dell’s innovative solutions to positively impact the wellbeing of communities by offering better patient experiences through intelligent healthcare decision-making and advancing health research.

GenAI brings with it a multitude of advantages in healthcare, ranging from early disease detection by analysing extensive medical data, to personalised treatment plans based on individual patient profiles.

It can also improve medical imaging accuracy, aid in predictive analytics for disease outbreaks and expedite drug discovery, contributing to a more efficient and patient-centred healthcare landscape.

“This collaboration signifies our unwavering commitment to advancing the future of healthcare by harnessing the rapidly increasing computing power and normalising GenAI-based outcomes,” said Junaid Khan, chief technology officer at PureHealth.

“By integrating GenAI, we are poised to revolutionise the industry, improve health outcomes, and fortify our healthcare system’s readiness for the future. GenAI is a powerful tool and will be incorporated in our digital transformation to take healthcare to the cloud.”

The global AI healthcare market was valued at Dhs40.4bn in 2021 and is projected to expand to Dhs686.8bn by 2030, according to Statista.

The growth will drive considerable changes in how medical providers, hospitals, and pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies operate.

PureHealth augments the UAE healthcare system

The partnership with Dell further solidifies PureHealth’s position following the recent milestone acquisitions of US private healthcare group Ardent Health Services and UK’s Circle Health Group.

The UAE healthcare firm agreed to acquire Circle Health Group in a deal valued at $1.2bn (Dhs4.41bn) in August.

The acquisition, which marked PureHealth’s foray into the UK, gave the healthcare services provider access to new state-of-the-art hospitals that Circle Health Group built recently, including the UK’s first purpose-built state-of-the-art rehabilitation hospital.

PureHealth also completed its more than Dhs1.8bn equity investment in Ardent Health Services in May.

The healthcare firm said the landmark transactions reflect its global expansion efforts, building on the group’s footprint of more than 25 hospitals, more than 100 clinics and more than 160 laboratories in the UAE.

The healthcare group is actively reshaping the future of healthcare through a strategic fusion of technology and data, while also pioneering innovative GenAI-driven solutions.

“GenAI continues to drive meaningful conversations and propel tangible progress across industries,” Walid Yehia, general manager, UAE at Dell Technologies said, adding that the tech firm supports PureHealth in delivering critical services to citizens.

With a robust and expansive network encompassing hospitals, clinics, numerous diagnostic centres, insurance solutions, pharmacies, health tech and procurement services, the Abu Dhabi healthcare services firm maintains its position as a trailblazer in the pursuit of longevity science and the transformation of healthcare systems.
