Home Covid-19 GCC Covid-19 update: UAE reports 883 cases; 349 infections registered in Oman The death toll in the UAE has risen to 393 by Zainab Mansoor September 9, 2020 UAE The Ministry of Health and Prevention has registered 883 new Covid-19 cases, 416 recoveries and two deaths in the last 24 hours. The figure marks the highest number of new daily infections since May 27, when 883 cases were reported. The new cases were detected as a result of 85,917 tests conducted to screen for the virus. The infection count has risen to 75,981, while the total recoveries tally 67,359. The total cases in the country have now reached 87,939, including 83,115 recoveries and 751 deaths. Bahrain Out of 11,535 Covid-19 tests carried out on September 8, 702 new cases have been detected.
